Another published work, now on print ads!

I got a called from Radzi yesterday saying that he saw my work in The Star (19th Nov 2009). After a quick stop at a nearby petrol station I bought The Star and saw my work in WOU ODL (Wawasan Open University: Open Distance Learning) print ads!

For those who do not know how my work came to WOU’s hand, last few months I participated in a contest organized by WOU. The contest require participants to upload photos of  their friends studying in a different environment other than the boring classroom. So I’ve planned a few trip with my friends for a photoshoot and submitted 9 entries. All my entries was rejected in the qualifying stage excluding Kaelynn’s photo (the one reading at the waterfall) then it made to 4th place. But sadly, the photo that WOU used on this print ads is the one being rejected in the early stage. I can’t question why as they have the rights to do so. It’s ok, I’m just happy that my work has been chosen for their print ads.

I would like to thank Nesya, Syahidah, Diana, Ain, Radzi, Kaelynn and Rachel for helping me throughout the project. I love you all!

What I shot today

Today I went out with my girl Nesya to KLCC for a movie and spent some time in Kinokuniya searching for some layout books.. Since we are already there, we called our old friend, Chyrina who is doing her internship in with Petronas in KLCC. Chyrina was Nesya’s schoolmate which also was my kindermate. It’s been quite some time since I last met her.. So after some drinks at Aseana Cafe, we went out for a photo taking session..

While Nesya and I walk to our parking area, we spotted a nice place so we did another shoot..

We hanged out in Midvalley until 630pm when Chyrina called us to fetch her from KLCC, she then brought us to lookout point where we had our dinner there. Before we head back, we did another shoot…

A very tiring yet productive day.. Thanks girls for spending your time with me..

What I did last month?

Last month my friends(Ain & Mimi) and I went to Bukit Merah Laketown Resort (BMLR) for an assignment. We were supposed to shoot the entire place in one day but due to heavy rain we stayed overnight and start shooting the next day. Our task was to shoot every parks and resort’s interiors available in BMLR. To name it, EcoPark, Orang Utan Island, Waterpark, Kampung Air (Water Chalet), Laketown Hotel and Suria Apartments. 

These are some of the shots I managed to edit for the time being. This is my 2nd time doing interior shots, soooo..pls give some constructive critics and comments.
